committed

I've signed up for Jacqui Lofthouse's The Writing Coach - Don't Forget to Write - A Monday Morning Writing Prompt, which kicked off this week. Jacqui says ''The idea is simply to give you a reminder of your writing commitment each Monday morning together with a little new inspiration so that this really does become the year when you produce your best work ever.''

This week's prompt is to choose my writing commitment and to make it public.
So, without further ado:

In 2010 I commit to

- writing at least one small stone each day

- posting on my blog at least twice a week (one of which will be 'my beautiful week'- a selection of 3 small stones)

- writing for 30 uninterrupted minutes at least twice a week (but if possible, daily)

That's it. It's small but manageable. And I hope that it will be the start of much bigger things!

  1. My writing goal this year is to write 500 words a day. Not much but enough to get me going and on a good day, maybe I could even double it.

    Here's to a productive 2010!

  2. Hi Kathleen

I'm new to your blog and taken by your commitment to write. Also that you live in New Zealand, the land of Janet Frame. Such inspiration must be there in that wonderful land for me across the way from us here in Australia. It's lovely to meet another fellow writer.
